J2: Sample sketches (A work in Progress)

I have not fully fleshed out my ideas, but I have a slight jumping off point for now. I will probably have a new set of sketches for tomorrow

J2: Sample Inspirations

I really like the swirling leaves and colors surrounding Pocahontas in these scenes. It appears to be joyful and free.

My nature inspiration is tree bark and tree roots. I love the textures and patterns created naturally.

Light Refraction creates an interesting shape.

Origami lends itself to roll printing and contrast.


Aquaducts create excellent repetition and pattern. I think the tension and movement (literally) will also create interesting elements. It also moves water which can help with the nature element of the assignment.
